Great scene! If you don't mind me giving you a quick tip...

If you set the footprints layer to "overlay" (at least in photoshop), and maybe add a slight bevel/emboss effect from the layer style menu, it'll make them look like they're sinking into the sand.

Google, "Wood engraving in photoshop". (or stone engraving). The same technique will work for sand or snow.

The sand looks FANTASTIC, btw...I always have trouble making mine look right. I'd appreciate any tips you could give me on that :)

If you want I can send you the metanode func for the sand that I used for this scene. Give me a day or two to feel a bit better and I will post it for you. Enjoy. :)) Thanks again for the tip about bevelling and embossing, staring straight at me too.Doh. Drugs ,they do funny things to ya.
Later, Lance :)

Sure, I'd love to see it. Did you use Vue?

Thanks for the tip, I could not figure out how to get the footprints in PSP, I should have done them in Vue, much easier. It is so easy once someone enlightens you, thanks again muddychickn :)

You're very welcome. I came across it once when I was trying to get footprints in snow, then ended up not doing the picture.
